2022 Madison Farmers Market is Open – with a Hybrid Approach

Evolving from the pandemic, the 2022 Madison Farmers Market is open for the season using a hybrid approach of both an online and onsite Market. The weekly Saturday markets will be a combination of online ordering and onsite producer sales. The online sales are geared toward those customers who want to make sure that they get the items they want regardless of what time they show up at the market and/or those customers who want to just be able to pick-up their order and go. The Onsite Market allows customers to browse the market and chat with the producers while the shop. Both the online order pick-up and the onsite market are under the Tent at Hoover Ridge Park, Madison, VA.

The Online Market will open at 9:00 am on the Sunday preceding the Market and will close Thursday at Noon so producers can pull and package the customer’s orders.  At the Saturday market, online sales will be packaged together with all the items the customer ordered in the bag; the bags will be labeled with the customer’s name, and the bags will be in a central location under the tent for customers to pick-up their orders and return their bags from the previous week.

The onsite market will also be under the tent, and each producer will have their own space, and tables set up with their products.  Everything that producers have for sale at the onsite market will also be available for sale on the online Market.  Pick up times for the online orders and the onsite Market will both be 9:00 – 10:30 am at the Tent in Hoover Ridge Park.
